The 16 Exeter playgrounds the council could close and why

To the potential dismay of mums and dads, the council has revealed a list of 16 of its 83 playgrounds it wants to axe. Its criteria for determining whether a playground is at risk is not only based on its “life expectancy” of play equipment but also how safe they are for children to play on.
